Breathing is something we often taken for granted. Our bodies do it without thinking about it. Yet having a more conscious approach can increase your physical and mental health.

There are many easy to learn methods that anyone can practice. At any point in your day, become more conscious of your breath for a minute or two and try the Circular Breathing Method.
Step 1: Draw in breath for 5 seconds
Step 2: Hold for 5 seconds
Step 3: release for 5 seconds
You may be amazed at how relaxed you feel after just this short exercise. Incorporate it into your life. Start once per day and if it feels good, add more of it to your routine.
Taking this step will bring awareness to your breathing, which may enhance your focus. You may begin to notice when you aren’t breathing enough. When you feel flustered or overwhelmed, take a minute for yourself.
