Have you considered fasting? Although it can sound extreme, just 12hrs of not eating is considered a fast with health benefits. Consider changing your routine and skipping breakfast to begin a fasting practice. Just remember when you finally do break your fast that you eat something good.
Do you know what you are eating? Do you really? Consider where your food is sourced. Know what you are putting in your body. Are there added sugars?
LIMIT SUGAR INTAKE
Do you understand that added sugars are actually poison? There is no benefit and when added to foods will contribute to worsened health. Can you attempt to find cleaner foods that you enjoy?
Do you drink enough water daily? When you feel hungry or a craving for sugar, perhaps try first drinking water. Can you use this to curb your cravings?
Do you have a breathing or meditation practice? Conscious breathing and resetting is a huge game changer if you haven’t picked it up yet. Increase your lung capacity and oxygen intact to reduce stress. Can you take the breaks you need?
GETTING OUTSIDE IN THE SUN
Did you know a huge factor in our health lies in our mitochondria? These cells love the sunlight and thrive when getting some every day. Have you gotten any sun in your eyes today?
How often are you looking at a screen? Do you make sure to take breaks? Blue light is not a natural source of light and will contribute to throwing your body’s natural rhythm. Do you have blue light reducing glasses?
Nervous System Training
How do you react under stress? Does your body go on edge and overwhelm you? Creating Intentional practices to break your comfort zone while remaining calm can increase the strength of your nervous system. Have you considered training with cold showers?
